Get a friend to read the questions to you and you can practice answering them. This is just one of many examples of questions asked in the IELTS exam. Any practice in English is good practice!

IELTS Reading
If you would like to try some reading examples, visit the Speakoz lesson plans page and scroll down to Vocabulary Building Exercises. These short discussion pages about life in Australia contain comprehension questions using True, False, or Not Given which is the format used in IELTS. Because these are discussion pages you can disagree with the answers given! But it is good practice for the real IELTS exam.
